Description
A crispy twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, these egg rolls are made in the air fryer for a healthier option.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak
- 1/2 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/2 small onion, thinly sliced
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 8 egg roll wrappers
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook steak, peppers, and onions in a skillet over medium heat until meat is browned and vegetables are tender. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place 2 tbsp of the steak mixture and 1/2 slice of cheese in the center of each egg roll wrapper.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in sides. Roll tightly and seal the edge with water.
- Lightly brush each egg roll with oil.
- Place in air fryer basket in a single layer, seam side down.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
- Thinly sliced steak works best for quick cooking.
- Don’t overfill the wrappers to prevent bursting.
- Serve immediately for the crispiest texture.
