Description

A crispy twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, these egg rolls are made in the air fryer for a healthier option.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook steak, peppers, and onions in a skillet over medium heat until meat is browned and vegetables are tender. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place 2 tbsp of the steak mixture and 1/2 slice of cheese in the center of each egg roll wrapper.
  4. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in sides. Roll tightly and seal the edge with water.
  5. Lightly brush each egg roll with oil.
  6. Place in air fryer basket in a single layer, seam side down.
  7. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

Notes

  • Thinly sliced steak works best for quick cooking.
  • Don’t overfill the wrappers to prevent bursting.
  • Serve immediately for the crispiest texture.
