Description
Crispy and flavorful wings made with gochujang sauce, cooked in an air fryer for a healthier twist.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken wings
- 2 tbsp gochujang paste
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat dry the chicken wings with paper towels.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook for another 10 minutes until crispy.
- In a bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic powder, ginger powder, and sesame oil.
- Toss the cooked wings in the sauce until fully coated.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onion before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, let the wings sit uncovered in the fridge for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Adjust gochujang amount for more or less spice.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
