Description

Crispy and flavorful wings made with gochujang sauce, cooked in an air fryer for a healthier twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp gochujang paste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Pat dry the chicken wings with paper towels.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  3. Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook for another 10 minutes until crispy.
  5. In a bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic powder, ginger powder, and sesame oil.
  6. Toss the cooked wings in the sauce until fully coated.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onion before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, let the wings sit uncovered in the fridge for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Adjust gochujang amount for more or less spice.
