Description
Crispy and golden French toast sticks made easy in the air fryer. Perfect for breakfast or a quick snack.
Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread (thick-cut works best)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Cooking spray or butter for greasing
- Maple syrup or powdered sugar for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Cut each slice of bread into 3-4 sticks.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and sugar.
- Dip each bread stick into the egg mixture, coating evenly.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray or butter.
- Place the coated bread sticks in a single layer in the basket.
- Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
- Serve warm with maple syrup or powdered sugar.
Notes
- Use stale bread for better texture.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the air fryer.
