Description
Crispy cheese sticks filled with pepperoni and mozzarella, cooked in an air fryer for a quick and delicious snack.
Ingredients
- 4 slices of mozzarella cheese
- 8 slices of pepperoni
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Place a slice of mozzarella and two pepperoni slices on each cheese stick.
- Roll tightly and secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Dip each stick in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture.
- Place in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh mozzarella for best melting.
- Spray lightly with oil for extra crispiness.
- Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
