Description
Crispy, juicy drumsticks with a sweet and spicy glaze, made easy in the air fryer.
Ingredients
- 6 chicken drumsticks
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the drumsticks dry and coat them with olive oil.
- Mix salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl. Rub the seasoning onto the drumsticks.
- Place the drumsticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 12 minutes, then flip and cook for another 10 minutes.
- While cooking, mix honey, hot sauce, and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl.
- Brush the hot honey glaze onto the drumsticks and air fry for another 3 minutes until sticky and caramelized.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Adjust hot sauce to control spice level.
- For extra crispiness, pat the drumsticks dry before seasoning.
- Check internal temperature—it should reach 165°F (74°C).
