Description

Crispy, spicy Korean gochujang chicken bites made in the air fryer. Perfect as a snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 1 tsp chopped green onions (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, and ginger.
  2. Toss chicken pieces in the marinade until fully coated. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Dredge marinated chicken in cornstarch, shaking off excess.
  5. Place chicken in air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

  • For extra crispiness, spray chicken lightly with oil before air frying.
