Description
Crispy and flavorful chicken nuggets made in the air fryer with lemon and herbs.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
- Toss chicken pieces with olive oil and lemon juice.
- Coat chicken in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, spray the nuggets lightly with oil before air frying.
