Crispy air fryer drumsticks with a sweet and tangy maple mustard glaze.
Ingredients
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the drumsticks dry with a paper towel.
- In a bowl, mix mustard, maple syrup, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat the drumsticks evenly with the mixture.
- Place the drumsticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Check for doneness (internal temperature should be 165°F/74°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use pure maple syrup for best flavor.
- Adjust cooking time if drumsticks are larger.
- For extra crispiness, spray lightly with oil before cooking.
