Description
A quick and healthy Mediterranean-inspired toast topped with fresh tomatoes and creamy cottage cheese, made in the air fryer for a crispy finish.
Ingredients
- 2 slices whole grain bread
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Brush both sides of the bread slices lightly with olive oil.
- Place the bread in the air fryer basket and cook for 3 minutes until crispy.
- Spread cottage cheese evenly on the toasted bread.
- Top with tomato slices.
- Sprinkle oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Return to the air fryer for 2 more minutes.
- Serve warm.
