Description

A quick and healthy Mediterranean-inspired toast topped with fresh tomatoes and creamy cottage cheese, made in the air fryer for a crispy finish.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole grain bread
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brush both sides of the bread slices lightly with olive oil.
  3. Place the bread in the air fryer basket and cook for 3 minutes until crispy.
  4. Spread cottage cheese evenly on the toasted bread.
  5. Top with tomato slices.
  6. Sprinkle oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  7. Return to the air fryer for 2 more minutes.
  8. Serve warm.
