Crispy and flavorful air fryer drumsticks with a smoky ancho chili seasoning.
Ingredients
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 2 tbsp ancho chili powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat drumsticks dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix ancho chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Toss drumsticks with olive oil, then coat evenly with the spice mix.
- Arrange drumsticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, spray drumsticks lightly with oil before cooking.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve with lime wedges for added freshness.
