Description
Quick and crispy salmon bites with a spicy bang bang sauce, perfect for Thanksgiving appetizers or a main dish.
Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip salmon cubes in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place salmon in air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden.
- Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey in a bowl to make the bang bang sauce.
- Drizzle sauce over cooked salmon bites or serve on the side.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh salmon for best texture.
- Adjust sriracha for more or less heat.
