Description
A quick and easy Thanksgiving casserole made with chicken and stuffing, cooked in an air fryer for a crispy finish.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots, thawed
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, peas and carrots, and black pepper.
- In a separate bowl, prepare the stuffing mix according to package instructions using the chicken broth.
- Spread the chicken mixture in an air fryer-safe baking dish.
- Top evenly with the prepared stuffing.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes, or until the stuffing is golden and crispy.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use leftover turkey instead of chicken for a post-Thanksgiving twist.
- For extra flavor, add dried herbs like thyme or sage to the stuffing mix.
- Ensure the baking dish fits in your air fryer before starting.
