Description
A simple and quick pea salad made in an air fryer, perfect for Thanksgiving or any gathering.
Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 2 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place frozen peas in the air fryer basket and cook for 3 minutes to thaw slightly.
- Transfer peas to a mixing bowl and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Add red onion, celery, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Gently fold in cheddar cheese, chopped eggs, and crumbled bacon.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh peas if available for better texture.
- Adjust mayonnaise quantity for desired creaminess.
- Add a pinch of sugar if peas are too tart.
