Description

A quick and easy Salisbury steak recipe cooked in an air fryer, topped with savory mushroom gravy. Perfect for Thanksgiving or any weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup beef broth


Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Form into 4 oval patties.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Cook patties in air fryer for 10 minutes, flip, then cook 5 more minutes.
  5. While patties cook, sauté mushrooms in butter until soft.
  6. Stir in flour, then slowly add beef broth while stirring to make gravy.
  7. Simmer gravy until thickened, about 3 minutes.
  8. Serve steaks topped with mushroom gravy.

Notes

  • For crispier patties, spray air fryer basket with oil.
  • Use lean ground beef for less grease.
