Description
A quick and easy Salisbury steak recipe cooked in an air fryer, topped with savory mushroom gravy. Perfect for Thanksgiving or any weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Form into 4 oval patties.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook patties in air fryer for 10 minutes, flip, then cook 5 more minutes.
- While patties cook, sauté mushrooms in butter until soft.
- Stir in flour, then slowly add beef broth while stirring to make gravy.
- Simmer gravy until thickened, about 3 minutes.
- Serve steaks topped with mushroom gravy.
Notes
- For crispier patties, spray air fryer basket with oil.
- Use lean ground beef for less grease.
- Gravy thickens as it cools.
