Description
Quick and crispy chicken parmesan bites made in the air fryer in just 4 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Dip chicken pieces in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place chicken in air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 4 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until cheese melts.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- Check chicken internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
