Description

Delicious and crispy air fryer beef empanadas filled with seasoned ground beef.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package of empanada dough discs
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
  4. Take an empanada disc and place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center.
  5. Fold the disc in half and press the edges to seal.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  7. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Place empanadas in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  9. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • You can add olives or hard-boiled eggs to the filling for extra flavor.
  • Serve with salsa or dipping sauce.
