Description
Crispy and flavorful beef empanadas made easily in your air fryer.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped olives
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 egg, beaten
- 12 empanada discs
- 1 tbsp oil
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until onions soften.
- Stir in olives and raisins. Remove from heat.
- Place a spoonful of filling on each empanada disc.
- Fold and seal edges with a fork.
- Brush each empanada with beaten egg.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
- Lightly spray empanadas with oil.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Let filling cool before assembling empanadas.
- Don’t overfill the discs to prevent breaking.
- Serve with chimichurri or hot sauce.
