Description
Crispy, spicy, and sweet honey garlic chicken made effortlessly in your air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cornstarch (optional, for thicker glaze)
Instructions
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and black pepper.
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, sriracha, garlic, ginger, and olive oil.
- Coat chicken evenly with the sauce and let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flip halfway through.
- If using cornstarch, mix it with 1 tbsp water and stir into remaining sauce. Brush over chicken in the last 2 minutes of cooking.
- Serve hot with rice or vegetables.
Notes
- Adjust sriracha for more or less heat.
- For extra crispiness, spray chicken lightly with oil before air frying.
- Double the sauce if you prefer more glaze.
