Description
Crispy air fryer buffalo wings coated in a sweet and spicy Thai chili sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken wings
- 1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
- 2 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for extra crispiness)
Instructions
- Pat dry the chicken wings with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss the wings in the seasoning.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- Place wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook for another 10-12 minutes until crispy.
- In a saucepan, combine Thai sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, and soy sauce. Heat over medium until slightly thickened.
- Toss the cooked wings in the sauce until fully coated.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, toss wings in cornstarch before air frying.
- Adjust hot sauce to your preferred spice level.
- Double the sauce if you prefer saucier wings.
