Description
A quick and easy recipe for crispy chicken parmesan made in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Coat chicken breasts with cooking spray.
- Dip each chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to coat.
- Place the coated chicken in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Top each chicken breast with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Air fry for another 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted.
Notes
- Use fresh herbs for more flavor.
- Adjust cooking time based on chicken thickness.
