Description
Crispy air-fried chicken parmesan served in a soft sub roll with melted cheese and marinara sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp milk
- 4 sub rolls
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
- Mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
- Whisk egg and milk in another bowl.
- Dip chicken in egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumb mix.
- Place chicken in air fryer basket and cook for 12 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Slice sub rolls and toast lightly.
- Spread marinara sauce on rolls, add cooked chicken, top with mozzarella.
- Return to air fryer for 2 minutes to melt cheese.
- Serve hot.

- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
