Description

Crispy air-fried chicken parmesan served in a soft sub roll with melted cheese and marinara sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
  2. Mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
  3. Whisk egg and milk in another bowl.
  4. Dip chicken in egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumb mix.
  5. Place chicken in air fryer basket and cook for 12 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Slice sub rolls and toast lightly.
  7. Spread marinara sauce on rolls, add cooked chicken, top with mozzarella.
  8. Return to air fryer for 2 minutes to melt cheese.
  9. Serve hot.
