A quick and easy chocolate lava cake made in an air fryer for a rich, gooey dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 square dark chocolate (for the center)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  4. Pour half the batter into a greased ramekin.
  5. Place the dark chocolate square in the center.
  6. Cover with the remaining batter.
  7. Air fry for 8-10 minutes until the edges are set but the center is still soft.
  8. Let cool for 1 minute, then invert onto a plate and serve warm.
