Description
Make crispy and delicious cinnamon sugar French toast sticks in your air fryer. A quick and easy breakfast or snack that everyone will love.
Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread (white or brioche)
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp butter (melted)
Instructions
- Cut each bread slice into 3-4 sticks.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Dip each bread stick into the egg mixture, coating evenly.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Place sticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 5 minutes, flip, and cook for another 3-5 minutes until golden.
- Mix cinnamon and sugar in a bowl.
- Brush cooked sticks with melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Serve warm with syrup or yogurt.
Notes
- Use slightly stale bread for better texture.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- For extra crispness, spray sticks lightly with cooking oil before air frying.
