A quick and easy breakfast recipe using an air fryer to prepare cowboy-style bagels with eggs, cheese, and bacon.
Ingredients
- 2 bagels, sliced in half
- 4 large eggs
- 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the bagel halves in the air fryer basket, cut side up.
- Crack an egg into the center of each bagel half.
- Sprinkle crumbled bacon, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper over each egg.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the cheese is melted.
- Garnish with chopped chives if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a crispier bagel, toast it lightly before adding the egg.
- You can substitute turkey bacon or vegetarian bacon for a lighter option.
