Description
Crispy chickpea fries made in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mash the chickpeas until mostly smooth.
- Add olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and cornstarch. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into fry shapes.
- Place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Remove and serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
