Description
Crispy cottage cheese fries made in an air fryer for a healthier snack.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Drain excess liquid from the cottage cheese.
- Mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Beat the egg in a separate bowl.
- Dip cottage cheese pieces in the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Lightly spray or brush with olive oil.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dip.
Notes
- Use full-fat cottage cheese for better texture.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
