Description
Crispy cream cheese wontons made in an air fryer for a healthier twist on this classic appetizer.
Ingredients
- 12 wonton wrappers
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp water (for sealing wontons)
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, green onions, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Place 1 tsp of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Dip your finger in water and moisten the edges of the wrapper.
- Fold the wrapper diagonally to form a triangle and press edges to seal.
- Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (187°C).
- Lightly spray the wontons with cooking spray.
- Arrange wontons in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
