Description

Crispy vegetarian dumplings made easily in an air fryer. These dumplings are packed with flavor and have a satisfying crunch without deep frying.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 cup grated carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped spring onions
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 20 dumpling wrappers
  • 2 tbsp water (for sealing)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for brushing)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cabbage, carrots, spring onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  2. Place 1 tsp of filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper.
  3. Dip your finger in water and moisten the edges of the wrapper.
  4. Fold the wrapper in half and press edges to seal.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  6. Lightly brush dumplings with oil and place in air fryer basket in single layer.
  7. Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway.
  8. Serve hot with dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket.
  • You can substitute vegetables based on preference.
  • For crispier dumplings, spritz with oil before cooking.
  • Leftover filling can be refrigerated for 2 days.
