Description
A quick and healthy crustless pizza made in the air fryer using cottage cheese as the base. Loaded with your favorite toppings for a guilt-free meal.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped bell peppers
- 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, mozzarella, egg, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Spread the mixture in a greased air fryer basket or pan to form a thin circle.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes until the edges are golden and the center is set.
- Remove from the air fryer and spread pizza sauce evenly over the top.
- Add bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, and olives as toppings.
- Sprinkle with cheddar cheese if desired.
- Return to the air fryer and cook for another 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Feel free to customize with your favorite pizza toppings.
- For a crispier base, cook for an extra 2-3 minutes.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
