A tasty recipe for pizza rolls filled with sausage, perfect for snacking or as a quick meal.
Ingredients
- 1 package of pizza dough
- 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
- Cut the dough into squares, about 3 inches on each side.
- In a bowl, mix cooked sausage, mozzarella, pizza sauce, and Italian seasoning.
- Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each dough square.
- Fold the dough over and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush each roll with beaten egg.
- Place the rolls in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
