Description
A quick and easy seafood paella made in the air fryer. This dish is packed with flavor and ready in minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rice
- 1.5 cups chicken or seafood broth
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 lb mussels, cleaned
- 1/2 lb calamari, sliced
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp saffron threads
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix rice, broth, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, paprika, saffron, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into an air fryer-safe pan or dish.
- Cook in the air fryer for 10 minutes.
- Add shrimp, mussels, calamari, and peas. Stir gently.
- Cook for another 10-12 minutes until the seafood is done and rice is tender.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
- Use short-grain rice like Bomba or Arborio for best results.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- You can substitute seafood with chicken or vegetables.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
