Description
Crispy waffle fries made easily in your air fryer with minimal oil.
Ingredients
- 2 large russet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Wash and peel the potatoes.
- Use a waffle cutter to slice potatoes into waffle shapes.
- Soak cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes, then pat dry.
- Toss potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
- Arrange fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking basket halfway through.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Soaking removes excess starch for crispier results.
- Do not overcrowd the basket to ensure even cooking.
- Season with additional spices if desired.
