Description
Crispy, golden French toast sticks made easily in your air fryer. Perfect for breakfast or a sweet snack.
Ingredients
- 4 slices of thick-cut bread (brioche or Texas toast)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- Cooking spray or melted butter
- Maple syrup or powdered sugar for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Cut each bread slice into 3-4 sticks.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and sugar.
- Dip each bread stick into the mixture, coating evenly.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush with melted butter.
- Arrange sticks in a single layer in the basket.
- Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
- Serve warm with syrup or powdered sugar.
Notes
- Stale bread works best for less soggy results.
- Avoid overcrowding the air fryer for even cooking.
