Description

Crispy gluten-free chicken cutlet sticks made easily in an air fryer. A healthier alternative to deep-fried chicken, perfect for a quick snack or meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix gluten-free breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Dip chicken strips into beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with olive oil.
  5. Place chicken strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 10 minutes, flip halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  7. Check internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, spray a little oil on the breaded chicken before air frying.
  • Use almond flour instead of breadcrumbs for a lower-carb option.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
