Description
Crispy gluten-free chicken cutlet sticks made easily in an air fryer. A healthier alternative to deep-fried chicken, perfect for a quick snack or meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix gluten-free breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip chicken strips into beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with olive oil.
- Place chicken strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flip halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Check internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, spray a little oil on the breaded chicken before air frying.
- Use almond flour instead of breadcrumbs for a lower-carb option.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
