Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cooking spray
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon sugar (for coating)


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, heat water, butter, sugar, and salt until boiling.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in flour and protein powder until smooth.
  4. Let cool for 5 minutes, then mix in egg and vanilla extract.
  5. Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
  6. Pipe 4-inch strips onto parchment paper, then spray lightly with cooking spray.
  7. Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Roll warm churros in cinnamon sugar.
  9. Serve immediately.
