Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1 tsp cinnamon (for coating)
- Non-stick cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
- In a saucepan, heat water, sugar, salt, and vegetable oil until boiling.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until it forms a dough.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
- Pipe 4-inch strips onto parchment paper, then spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Carefully place churros in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow dish.
- Roll warm churros in the mixture to coat.
- Serve immediately.

- For extra crispiness, spray churros lightly with oil before air frying.
