A quick and easy air fryer meatball sub recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 sub rolls
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into meatballs.
- Place meatballs in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through.
- While meatballs are cooking, warm marinara sauce in a saucepan.
- Once meatballs are cooked, place them in sub rolls.
- Top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Return to air fryer for 2-3 minutes to melt cheese.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- Use turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
