Description
A quick and easy breakfast sandwich with a Monte Cristo twist, made in the air fryer for a crispy finish.
Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp raspberry jam
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread Dijon mustard on two slices of bread.
- Layer ham and Swiss cheese on the mustard-coated bread.
- Top with the remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
- Whisk eggs and milk in a shallow bowl.
- Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
- Place sandwiches in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve with raspberry jam.
