Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 red chili, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge chicken in flour, dip in beaten egg, then coat with panko.
- Lightly spray or brush nuggets with oil.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
- While nuggets cook, mix fish sauce, sugar, lime juice, garlic, and chili in a small saucepan.
- Heat glaze over low heat until sugar dissolves.
- Toss cooked nuggets in glaze and serve immediately.

- For extra crispiness, spray nuggets with oil before air frying.
- Adjust chili amount to control spiciness.
