Description
Crispy air fryer nuggets served with a tangy charred lime crema.
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into nuggets
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 lime, charred and juiced
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
- Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Coat nuggets in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place nuggets in air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Char lime over a flame or in a skillet until blackened. Juice it.
- Mix sour cream, lime juice, and cilantro to make the crema.
- Serve nuggets with crema.
Notes
- Use gloves when handling hot lime.
- For extra crispiness, spray nuggets lightly with oil before air frying.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
