Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Mix melted butter and brown sugar in a bowl, then spread evenly in a greased cake pan.
- Arrange pecan halves over the butter-sugar mixture.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat granulated sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, then pour batter over the pecans.
- Place the pan in the air fryer and cook for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for 5 minutes, then invert onto a plate.

- Use a cake pan that fits inside your air fryer.
- Check doneness at 25 minutes to avoid overbaking.
