Description
Crispy plantain chips made in an air fryer with garlic and herbs for a flavorful snack.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe plantains
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Peel and thinly slice the plantains.
- Toss the slices with olive oil, garlic powder, thyme, and salt.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Arrange the plantain slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm plantains for best texture.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
