Description
Crispy and healthy plantain chips made in an air fryer. A simple snack with minimal oil.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe plantains
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Peel the plantains and slice them thinly using a knife or mandoline.
- Toss the slices with olive oil, salt, and paprika.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm plantains for best texture.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
