Description
Quick and easy homemade chicken tenders made in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Set up a breading station: place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with spices in a third.
- Dip each chicken strip into flour, then eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Arrange the breaded chicken strips in a single layer in the basket.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from air fryer and serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of chicken strips.
- For extra flavor, marinate chicken in buttermilk for 30 minutes before breading.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
