Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into nugget-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chipotle powder
- 1 lime, juiced and zested
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
- In a bowl, mix chicken with olive oil, smoked paprika, chipotle powder, lime juice, lime zest, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Place nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- For the crema, mix sour cream, lime juice, and cilantro in a small bowl.
- Serve nuggets hot with crema on the side.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, lightly spray nuggets with oil before air frying.
- Adjust chipotle powder for more or less heat.
- Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a lighter crema.
