Description
A quick and easy air fryer recipe for spicy orange chicken with a tangy citrus kick.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Mix orange juice, soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
- Toss chicken cubes in the marinade and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 12 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Whisk cornstarch and water, then stir into the remaining marinade.
- Heat olive oil in a pan, add the marinade, and cook until thickened.
- Toss cooked chicken in the sauce and serve.
Notes
- Adjust red pepper flakes for more or less heat.
- Serve with rice or steamed vegetables.
- For crispier chicken, spray lightly with oil before air frying.
