Description
Crispy wings coated in a sweet soy ginger glaze, cooked perfectly in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken wings
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 1 tbsp water (optional)
Instructions
- Pat dry chicken wings with paper towels.
- Preheat air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for 5 minutes.
- Place wings in air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook another 12 minutes.
- Mix soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and rice vinegar in a saucepan.
- Simmer glaze for 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- (Optional) Mix cornstarch and water, stir into glaze.
- Toss cooked wings in glaze.
- Return to air fryer for 2 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Pat wings dry for crispier results.
- Adjust cooking time based on air fryer model.
- Double glaze recipe if you prefer extra sauce.
- Let wings rest 5 minutes before serving.
