Description

Crispy and juicy teriyaki meatball bites made in the air fryer for a quick and delicious snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken or turkey
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce (for glaze)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground chicken, panko, egg, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and green onions.
  3. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1-inch in diameter.
  4. Place meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them.
  5. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Brush the meatballs with teriyaki sauce and air fry for 1 more minute.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve warm.
