Description
Crispy and juicy teriyaki meatball bites made in the air fryer for a quick and delicious snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken or turkey
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce (for glaze)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground chicken, panko, egg, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and green onions.
- Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1-inch in diameter.
- Place meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Brush the meatballs with teriyaki sauce and air fry for 1 more minute.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve warm.
Notes
- Use lean ground meat for best results.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- Serve with extra teriyaki sauce for dipping.
