Description
A quick and easy recipe for a delicious air fryer tuna melt.
Ingredients
- 1 can of tuna, drained
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon diced onion
- 1 tablespoon diced celery
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 slices of bread
- 2 slices of cheese
- Butter, for spreading
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix tuna, mayonnaise, onion, celery, and lemon juice.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice of bread butter-side down in the air fryer basket.
- Spread the tuna mixture on top of the bread.
- Add a slice of cheese on top of the tuna mixture.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Air fry for 5-7 minutes, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Remove, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Use your favorite type of cheese.
- Try adding tomato slices for extra flavor.
