Description
Make juicy and flavorful Italian-style turkey meatballs using an air fryer. A healthier alternative to traditional beef meatballs with minimal oil.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Form into 1-inch meatballs.
- Lightly coat meatballs with olive oil.
- Place meatballs in air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking basket halfway.
- Check internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Serve with marinara sauce.
Notes
- Use lean turkey for best results.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Meatballs can be frozen before cooking.
